Argument

I've never had a huge argument but I've had a little one. The argument I've ever had was in 6th grade when my mom didn't want me to play basketball but I wanted to play a lot. So she took me to my first game and she didn't like it because she said that the other teams played to physical. This made me mad because I had been in soccer for my whole life and I had played soccer and that seemed more physical to me than basketball. So for the next few days I described how soccer was more physical than basketball. My mom finally gave in and let me play.

From this argument I learned that if you fight for what you want and you have good reasons to pursue what ever you want. Then you can have it. But you have to keep calm in an argument and be patient.

Stan Lee's Journey to Success

My nonfiction book is about the story of Stan Lee and he's difficulties and struggles to become the great comic book writer he is today. This book talks about his childhood and the difficulty that he's family went through. It's tells how Stanley loved literature and how his boss gave him a chance to
make a comic and his boss liked it a lot and from there his carrer grew.

I actually liked this book even though most of the books I read are fiction. I liked this book because it was interesting how a poor kid could grow up to make all of these cool superheroes. And it shows how in some parts of his carrer he didn't believe in himself. I also liked this book because it shows the increase in popularity for comic books increased.

Book post

one book that I read this quarter was the 39 Clues The Maze Of Bones. This book is about two kids who are brother and sister going on a adventure to find a family treasure after they find out that their family is one of the most important in the world. The duo find out that they are part of the most important family in the world after their grandmother, who was the only person who every cared about them, died. Their parents were dead, they later find out they died by trying to find the family treasure. During the competition to find the treasure there relitives are also trying to find the treasure. They go behind backs and even set traps. To find out if they ever find the treasure you'll need to read the book.

Kindness over break.

One kind thing I did over break was that I volunteered at a homeless shelter. Every year there is a days where me and my family go to the church that the homeless people stay the night and we help out in the kitchen. My mom makes soup and my brothers and I go and serve it to the homeless people. After they are done eating we play card with some kids who go there. After that we clean up the kitchen and we go home.
